4-Day Andean Trek and Wachuma Ceremony in Peru

This retreat is a chance to experience the Andes in a way that goes beyond typical tourism. You will be accompanied by Ruty, a guide from a small village in southern Cusco who speaks Spanish, Quechua, and English, and a Maestro (shaman) who leads the ceremonies. The trek to Huchuy Qosqo is the main physical activity, and you will have the opportunity to learn about the spiritual significance of the landscape from your guides. The first night is spent in a homestay, where you'll get a direct glimpse into the daily life of an Andean family. The second and third nights are spent in a hotel in the Sacred Valley, where you'll have time to rest and prepare for the Wachuma ceremony.

The Wachuma ceremony, which takes place on the third day, is the focal point of the retreat. It is a plant medicine ceremony that is intended to facilitate introspection and emotional release. You will be guided by the Maestro in a safe and supportive environment. The ceremony is preceded by a day of light eating and followed by a day of rest and integration. In addition to the ceremony, there are also cleansing rituals and a Mother Earth offering. The retreat is designed to foster personal growth and healing, and many guests leave feeling a sense of clarity and connection.
