This five-day retreat at an Ayurvedic wellness resort in Kathmandu is a short, well-paced introduction to Ayurveda. It is built around treatment, nourishment, movement, rest and practical wellness education. Therapies are not stacked back to back: recovery periods are scheduled between them, so you have time to relax and let each treatment settle.
Your stay begins with an Ayurvedic consultation, which shapes the treatments you receive over the following days. These include oil massage, steam therapy and personalised rejuvenation treatments. Each day also has yoga, meditation and breathing practice, and on day four there is a lifestyle session on routines, food and sleep that you can take home with you.
All meals are full-board vegetarian and Ayurvedic, served with drinking water and herbal drinks. Airport pickup and drop-off are included. A closing consultation on the last day gives you personal lifestyle recommendations before you leave.
Groups are small (1 to 10 guests), and the retreat runs all year.
