5-Day Food, Adventure & Connection Retreat in Mykonos, Greece

The retreat takes place at Villa Megalo, a private 11-bedroom villa perched on a hill above Lia Beach in Mykonos. The property has a 15-meter infinity pool, a hot tub, and lush Mediterranean gardens. Each room has its own charm, with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces where you can watch the sunrise with a coffee. The whole villa is yours for the duration, so it feels more like staying at a friend's vacation home than a hotel.

Food is a major part of the experience. A private chef prepares all meals family-style, using fresh local ingredients and traditional Greek recipes. You'll eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner together around a long table, with wine included. There's also a hands-on cooking class where you'll learn to make some of the dishes yourself. Dietary preferences are catered for—just let the team know in advance.

Days are a mix of relaxation and adventure. One afternoon you'll take a private boat out to explore the coastline, with time for snorkeling and watching the sunset on the way back. There's also a coastal hike through the island's countryside, and plenty of beach time. The itinerary is flexible, so you can join everything or take time to simply float in the pool.

The host, Matt, started this retreat after years in the travel industry and then the corporate world, frustrated that the holiday he wanted didn't exist. He's not a wellness guru—just a guy who loves good food, meeting people, and exploring beautiful places. His approach is hands-on: he'll make sure you have everything you need, but he also gives you space to do your own thing.
