Home › Retreats › 5-Day Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release Teacher Training in the Tuscan Hills, Italy
Tuscany · 5 days · From USD 890
This isn't a retreat where you just show up and stretch — it's a working teacher training, but it still leaves room to breathe. You'll spend about 30 hours over five days learning what Yin yoga actually is, how it works on the body's energy channels, and how to teach it. Daniela keeps the group small (between one and ten, so quite often fewer), which means you get direct feedback and can go as deep into the material as you want.
The unique angle here is the myofascial release component. Where most Yin trainings stop at postures and sequencing, this one adds a whole module on releasing fascia — the connective tissue that gets tight and restricted, often in ways you can't stretch out. You'll learn specific techniques, how to pair them with Yin poses, and how to integrate them into your own practice and teaching. It's a practical skill that makes your classes feel noticeably different.
Daniela has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2016, with a background in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Prenatal yoga. She brings a balanced approach — alignment and strength, but also surrender and ease. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that yoga is for everybody, and she adapts the training to your level, whether you're a beginner or an experienced teacher.
The location plays its part, too. The farmhouse sits in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards and woods, with views that make you want to slow down. The schedule is structured but not rigid, with breaks for lunch, personal study, and rest. There are also optional extras like a 60-minute massage or airport pickup. It's a training that works best if you're genuinely interested in Yin, but the small group and the setting make it feel more like a retreat than a crash course.
