5-Day Yoga and Wine Escape in the Italian Mountains

The retreat runs for five days, with four nights of accommodation. Mornings are dedicated to yoga, typically a Hatha or Vinyasa class, led by Olivia, a German teacher who has been practicing and teaching around the world since 2016. Her style is patient and accessible for all levels, so you don't need to be a regular yogi to feel comfortable.

After yoga, breakfast is served on the terrace. The rest of the day might involve a visit to Danilo's vineyard, a guided hike through the mountains, or an afternoon exploring the historic town of Sora, with its cafés and markets. One day includes a short trip to the Natural Reserve Lago di Posta Fibreno, where you can hike and swim in the clear waters.

Evenings are for unwinding. An optional yoga or meditation class is offered, followed by a healthy vegetarian dinner, again on the terrace with a view over the valley. Olivia, the host, is known for creating a welcoming atmosphere; solo travellers in particular feel at ease. The group is small, which means you'll likely get to know everyone and maybe even share a bottle of D.S. Bio wine with new friends.

This is not a high-energy fitness retreat. It's more about restoration, gentle movement, and enjoying the Italian countryside. If you're looking for a quiet, scenic week with good food and wine, and a bit of yoga to tie it together, this fits the bill.
