Home › Retreats › 5 Day Yoga, Sea & Food Retreat in Paleros, Greece
Greece · 5 days · From USD 396
The retreat is based in a family-run center where the owners have spent nearly two decades hosting yoga retreats and wellness programs, so they've learned what guests actually need: flexible structure, excellent food, real human warmth, and enough free time to let something shift. Each day begins gently at 8:30 am with a short meditation, pranayama practice, and a yoga session, followed by a nourishing brunch at 10:00 am. Afternoons are yours to spend on the beach, under the trees, journaling, or joining optional group activities that form based on the group's shared energy. Evenings bring restorative sessions from around 5:30 pm, which might include reflective workshops, guided meditations, or calming yoga, depending on what the group needs. Dinner is served at 7:30 pm, and after that, the time is yours to rest or connect under the stars. The center draws its spiritual inspiration from the Self-Liberation path, an approach rooted in the ancient Greek tradition, and guests can explore a book called 'How to Die Before You Die' if they're interested. The host team includes several instructors with different backgrounds: Ludovica, a vinyasa, yin yoga, and Pilates teacher; Tess, a physiotherapist from New Zealand who teaches Vinyasa and Yin; and Antonios, the founder, who trained in energetic diets and yoga and is also the center's chef. Paleros itself is a quiet, authentic village between mountains and the Ionian Sea, about 20 minutes from Preveza Airport, with clear water for swimming and hiking trails nearby. The retreat is a chance to slow down, eat well, and reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, low-key corner of Greece.
