Om Breathe Yoga School runs this 50-hour aerial yoga teacher training in Ubud, the spiritual heart of Bali. The course is built around daily aerial practice, but it's not just about getting comfortable in the hammock. The curriculum covers foundational poses, strength and flexibility work, inversions, and spinal decompression, then moves into the teaching side: how to structure a class, cueing, adjustments, and keeping students safe.

You'll also study anatomy and physiology as it applies to aerial yoga – body mechanics, spine health, injury prevention – so you understand why you're doing what you're doing. Pranayama and meditation are woven through every day, alongside sound healing sessions. The integration of all these practices into one flowing program is what makes the training feel cohesive rather than like separate workshops bolted together.

The lead teacher is Yogi Ranjan, who has over a decade of experience and trained at the Isha Foundation under Sadhguru's guidance. He's spent time studying in the Himalayas and other sacred sites across India. His teaching blends traditional yoga philosophy with the modern demands of aerial practice. The setting itself plays a big part – the open-air shala is surrounded by lush greenery, which keeps the energy calm and focused.

Ubud itself is a major global yoga hub, so you're never far from other practitioners, healing centres, or cultural sites. When you're not in class, you can walk into town, visit temples, or book a massage. The school is quiet and set back from the main tourist drag, which helps you stay immersed in the training. By the end of the week, you'll have the tools and confidence to start teaching aerial yoga, plus a certification to back it up.
