50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Retreat in Andalusia, Spain

The training is structured around four core modules: personal practice, anatomy and fascia theory, the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and teaching methodology with practicum. Mornings begin with a dynamic Yin-Yang style class to build strength and mindfulness, while afternoons transition into the introspective practice of Yin Yoga, where you'll hold postures for extended periods to target deep connective tissues. Each day balances theory, practice, and student teaching, ensuring within a week you have the practical skills to guide others. You'll explore fascia anatomy through lectures and hands-on experience, understanding how it influences movement and how to adapt poses. The five elements of TCM (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) are woven into your understanding of yin postures, with each posture linked to specific meridians. Teaching methodology sessions focus on creating balanced sequences, learning the nuances of cueing, and fostering an inclusive class environment. You'll receive feedback from instructors and peers as you practice teaching, and by week's end, you'll teach a full sequence. The course is hosted by Wild Warrior Yoga, an Ashtanga Vinyasa school, and led by Morwenna, an experienced teacher with a dance background and extensive training in India. The villa is only a 25-minute walk from the beach and surrounded by a protected natural park, offering a peaceful, focused atmosphere for study.
