500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training & Wellness Immersion in Goa

India · 47 days · From USD 3400

Shree Hari Yoga's 500-hour Complete Yoga Teacher Training in Arambol is designed as one continuous journey, not separate modules. The program runs back-to-back, so you build on what you learn each week. You'll start with the foundational 200-hour material and progress through advanced techniques, teaching methodology, and practice. The training includes daily sadhana (pranayama, meditation, mantra), asana clinics, and workshops on themes like hip opening, inversions, and arm balances.

You'll learn teaching practice focused on Ashtanga Primary and Intermediate Series, Vinyasa sequencing, and Hatha Yoga, with hands-on adjustments and alignment. Teaching begins on day five with asana classes, and you'll work up to leading 45-90 minute sessions. You'll get feedback from peers and teachers on your voice, class management, and style. There's also instruction on the business side of yoga, injury management, and class safety.

The course includes a comprehensive manual covering philosophy to practical techniques. You also get an Ayurvedic consultation and personalized lifestyle program, and access to experienced teachers rooted in the Nath lineage tradition. The school's founder, Hari, trained under 'Tiger Baba' in Kathmandu and lived in a cave for three years—he brings that authentic Himalayan lineage to the program. Other teachers include Gonul (specializing in Hatha, Aerial, Yin), Dr. James (Ayurveda), and Dr. Jenifar (naturopathy).

The location in Arambol adds to the experience. You're near the beach, so you can swim or walk along the shore during breaks. The school is surrounded by lush greenery, and the sound of the ocean or breeze is ever-present. Evenings often include kirtan, meditation, and sunset viewing. Sundays are a rest day, and you can explore local cafes and markets. It's a full-on training, but you're supported with good food, a calm environment, and a community that looks out for you.
