6-Day Seaside Wellness Escape in Albir, Spain

A week here runs on a loose daily rhythm that starts with a 90-minute yoga class or a guided walk at 8am. Breakfast is at 9.30am, then there is a second yoga class or a walk into the nearby natural park at 10.30am. At 12.15pm there is rebounding, legs-bums-and-tums, or aqua aerobics in summer. A 30-minute meditation class starts at 13.00, and lunch is served at 13.30. Afternoons bring cooking demos, juice demos, workshops or exercise classes from 15.00, another class at 17.00, dinner at 18.15, and an evening session like Yoga Nidra, a workshop or a guided summer walk around 19.15.

The yoga program mixes styles across the week – most classes are Hatha-based, with Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, and the occasional Kundalini and Anusara. Once a week there is a Yoga Nidra session. Teachers make hands-on adjustments where needed and are happy to talk outside class.

La Crisalida is run by a small, family-oriented team led by Lisa, one of the owners, who has practised yoga for 15+ years and trained at the Mindful Yoga Academy in Alicante. Guests consistently mention the friendly atmosphere, the plant-based food, and how easy it is to arrive solo and feel part of the group.
