7-Day Yoga and Wellness Retreat in Mallorca with Beach Days and Paella Cooking Class

The week is built around two daily yoga sessions at Cal Reiet's yoga shala, a purpose-built space for practice and meditation. Morgan Mazza leads morning meditation followed by an upbeat vinyasa flow class, and on some days there's a second afternoon session that's more workshop-like — alignment work, slower holds, or restorative poses. The exact class times aren't published, but the schedule leaves most of the middle of the day free for the pool, the wellness area (jacuzzi, hammam, sauna), a treatment in the beauty room or open-air massage area, or lunch à la carte at the hotel.

Three excursions are included. On the paella workshop evening, Cal Reiet's chefs explain how paella is made and show you a vegan version using local seasonal ingredients; the workshop happens before dinner and the paella becomes that night's meal, with a glass of Mallorcan red or white included. The beach day goes to Ses Covetes, part of the Es Trenc natural beach — roughly 4km of white sand and very flat, clear water about 20km from the hotel, with round-trip transport provided and time at the laid-back beach restaurant Bar Esperanza. You also pick one of two activities: a guided 11km coastal hike from the Cap de Ses Salines lighthouse to Cala S'Almunia (mostly flat, about 4 hours, passing Cala Marmols, Cala S'Almunia and Caló des Moro), or a boat trip on a traditional Mallorcan llaüt built in 1936, sailing from Colonia St. Jordi along the virgin beaches between Cap Salines and Sa Rapita with swim stops and a tasting of local products. If you want to do both the hike and the boat, it costs an extra $85. Two optional add-ons are also available: a winery tour and tasting at Es Fangar in Felanit (35, 2.5 hours, six organic wines paired with island products) and a 5-hour sailing charter on a 16-metre yacht ($235, departing 10:00 and returning 15:00, with Mediterranean lunch and open bar; it runs if at least six people sign up).

Cal Reiet itself is a 15-room boutique retreat set in Mediterranean gardens, with the dining area by the pool and the yoga shala on the grounds. Rooms are individually designed; single and double occupancy are both available, and if you book double without a designated roommate, the studio will try to pair you with someone and you'll pay the single rate if they can't. Breakfast and dinner are included daily and are vegetarian/vegan and largely organic and seasonal; lunch is not included.

The retreat runs October 4–10, 2025. A $500 non-refundable deposit holds your spot, 50% of the balance is due April 1, 2025, and the remainder July 1, 2025. Prices are per person: $4,299 single occupancy, $3,199 double occupancy. Payment plans are available for an upcharge of roughly 00 to cover extra card fees. Transfers from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) and VAT are included; international flights, alcohol, daily lunch, extra tours and spa treatments, and the nightly eco tax (about €2 per person per day) are not.
