9-Day Yoga and Desert Adventure in Morocco

The retreat starts in Marrakech, where you'll settle into a traditional riad and explore the medina's colorful souks. From there, you'll travel south through the Atlas Mountains, visiting ancient kasbahs and UNESCO World Heritage sites. The journey peaks with two nights in the Merzouga Desert, where you'll ride camels to a camp, dance with Gnawa musicians, and practice yoga under vast skies.

Daily yoga classes are led by Daniela, who tailors each session to the group's energy and the environment, whether on a rooftop in Marrakech or on desert sands. Her dynamic vinyasa flows are balanced with restorative yin sessions and pranayama. Singing bowls are woven into some practices, adding a layer of calm.

Accommodations are a mix of charming riads with modern amenities and a glamping-style desert camp. You'll share meals together, enjoying traditional Moroccan cuisine prepared with vegetarian and vegan options. The small group size, capped at eight, ensures a personal, intimate feel.

Along the way, you'll visit historic sites like the Bahia Palace and Todra Gorge, meet locals in the Dades Valley, and have free time to explore or simply rest. The retreat aims to be a genuine, off-the-beaten-path experience, for both seasoned travelers and those new to Morocco.
