Egypt · 9 days · From USD 1792
Deep Blue Exhale is a nine-day journey combining a traditional yoga and wellness retreat with the thrill of wild dolphin encounters. The core of the experience is the five days spent anchored in Sataya Lagoon, a place where you can swim with pods of wild dolphins — something that feels genuinely magical, not staged. The retreat also includes daily yoga, pranayama (breathwork), yoga nidra, and sound healing sessions, all designed to help you unwind and connect with the rhythm of the sea.
What sets this retreat apart is the setting: a private yacht floating in one of the world's most biodiverse marine environments. You're not just attending a yoga class; you're living on the water, with daily opportunities to snorkel over vibrant coral reefs, take an introductory or certified scuba dive, or simply jump in for a swim whenever you feel like it. The schedule is structured but unhurried, with plenty of free time to rest, read, or sunbathe.
The food on board is freshly prepared vegetarian, with special dietary needs accommodated on request. Being on a yacht means you're completely unplugged from the outside world, which is a big part of the retreat's appeal. You'll share this experience with a small group of like-minded people, and the retreat explicitly welcomes all levels, from beginners who have never practiced yoga to seasoned practitioners.
The retreat is hosted by Tanya Popovich, founder of Shri Gaia Institute, who brings a unique blend of Jivamukti, Anusara, Sivananda, Satyananda, and Trika yoga to her teaching. Dr. Marilena, managing director of MBS Cyprus, co-facilitates, focusing on creating the container for connection and reflection. Together they've crafted a retreat that feels less like a holiday and more like a reset — a chance to slow down, breathe, and maybe swim with a dolphin or two.
