Home › Retreats › Advanced 300-Hour Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training on Goa's Peaceful Coast
India · 27 days · From USD 899
The training is structured to balance intense learning with real rest. Mornings start before sunrise with pranayama, shatkarma, and chanting, followed by a two-hour asana class that works through the Ashtanga series. After breakfast, the focus shifts to theory — anatomy, yogic philosophy, and Ayurveda — then lunch, and later in the afternoon, you get hands-on teaching practice.
Evenings are deliberately lighter. There's meditation or a beach practice, dinner, and then often something social — kirtan, a movie night, or an outing into Goa. It's a fully immersive schedule, but it doesn't feel relentless; there's time to swim in the sea on breaks and on your day off.
What makes this different from a shorter TTC is the depth. You'll study the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita, learn how to sequence classes that flow, and practice giving precise adjustments. The group is capped at 20, so you get real feedback from instructors who know your practice by name.
The school itself is a peaceful compound set back from the beach, surrounded by tropical greenery. Rooms are simple but clean, with AC and ensuite bathrooms. It's not a luxury resort — it's a place built for practice, with open-air shalas and a garden where you can stretch out and study.
