Rishikesh · 28 days · From EUR 1414
This 28-day advanced training is designed for yoga teachers who have already completed their 200-hour certification and are ready to deepen their expertise. If you are looking to refine your teaching skills, explore more challenging practices, and gain a thorough understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and progressive teaching methods, this programme offers the comprehensive education you need. Upon completion, you will receive a 300-Hour International Yoga Certification Diploma approved by Yoga Alliance, which combined with your existing qualification, allows you to register as an RYT-500 and access advanced teaching opportunities around the world.
The curriculum draws on authentic yogic knowledge passed through generations of masters and sages. You will study a range of styles including Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini Yoga, and Ashtanga Yoga, alongside advanced meditation techniques, pranayama, mantra chanting, mudras, bandhas, and shatkriya cleansing practices. Theory sessions cover yoga philosophy, human anatomy and physiology for practitioners, and teaching methodology, while practical alignment and adjustment workshops ensure you develop the hands-on skills needed to guide students safely and effectively.
The training takes place at a serene retreat centre set within lush vegetation, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Situated away from the bustle of the city yet just a 30-minute drive from downtown Rishikesh, the location strikes a balance between peaceful seclusion and access to the town's iconic spiritual sites. Weekly excursions take you to sacred places in the area, and visits to the Ganga Aarti ceremony, special Kundalini workshops, and evening satsangs enrich your experience beyond the classroom.
Your days follow a steady, nourishing rhythm. You wake at half past six with green tea before a 90-minute Hatha Vinyasa class, followed by mantra chanting, pranayama, mudra, bandha, and shatkriya practice. After a wholesome vegetarian breakfast, morning theory sessions explore philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methods, leading into meditation practice before lunch. The afternoon includes rest and self-study time, a herbal tea break, Karma Yoga, further theory, and a 90-minute alignment and adjustment session. Evenings bring a sattvic dinner, silent self-study, and lights out at ten o'clock, ensuring you rest well for the following day.
Your package includes 27 nights of accommodation in either a shared twin room or a private deluxe single room, all with ensuite bathrooms and WiFi. Three daily vegetarian meals, water, tea, and coffee are provided throughout, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients according to yogic and sattvic principles, with vegan options available. You also receive daily yoga, meditation, pranayama, and theory classes, practice teaching sessions with feedback, group excursions, a comprehensive course manual, a school t-shirt, and your certification diploma. Flights, visa fees, travel insurance, airport transfers, and personal expenses are not included, though transfers can be arranged for an additional fee.
