Aerial Yoga Teacher Training & Wellness Immersion in Peru's Sacred Valley

This is a teacher training first and a retreat second. The 50 hours are split across four modules: Foundations of Aerial Yoga covers the equipment, safe rigging, contraindications, and a run-through of standing and seated postures. Teaching Methodology I and II work on sequencing, alignment cues, how to communicate instructions clearly, and how to adapt poses for different bodies. The final module, Restorative Aerial Yoga & Meditation, brings the pace down and gives you space to design and lead your own class before the week ends.

Isidora Muñiz leads the training in both English and Spanish. She's certified in Aerial Yoga, Integral Yoga (Ayurveda), Anusara Elements, and the Pilates Suspension Method, and she's a registered Yoga Alliance instructor. She runs her own aerial yoga school in Chile and formerly taught in Spain. Her style leans toward mindful movement and breath awareness — expect detailed cues on alignment rather than a fast-paced flow.

The location sets this apart from most aerial trainings. Willka Tika has been running wellness retreats in the Sacred Valley for nearly 30 years. The property is about 90 minutes from Cusco airport, with views of the Andes and gardens planted with Andean superfoods and medicinal herbs. November is the start of the green season — the valley is blooming, crowds are smaller than in peak months, and you can still get out for hikes to nearby Inca sites on your free afternoons.

You finish with an aerial yoga teaching certification. If you're already a yoga teacher, this adds a new modality to your toolkit. If you're just curious about aerial yoga for your own practice, the training gives you a solid foundation — the certification is a bonus you can use or not.
