Andalucian Countryside Yoga & Wellness Escape

The property is a beautifully renovated Andalucian cortijo — a traditional farmhouse estate — spread across extensive grounds that include olive groves, tropical gardens and views over the valley to the sea. The landscape is constantly changing with seasonal colour, rare plant species and fresh scents.

Three yoga studios serve the retreats: one outdoors and two indoors, including the large light-filled shala that press coverage has highlighted. There's also a yoga wall for deeper stretching and twisting work. Beyond scheduled sessions, guests have access to a salt-water swimming pool, paddle tennis, and walking routes through the surrounding hills. Beaches, golf courses, tennis clubs and horse riding stables are all close by.

The kitchen runs on a 'real food' philosophy that translates into seasonal Mediterranean menus — vegetarian and vegan — made with organic produce from local farmers and from the property's own vegetable gardens, fruit trees, herb garden and chicken coop for fresh eggs. Meals are served in peaceful communal spaces overlooking the gardens.

Retreats are led by visiting teachers from around the world, with a calendar that spans yoga, meditation, wellness, life coaching and teacher training. Past guests describe the experience as 'home from home' — a combination of serious practice, good food and a genuinely restful environment that lets you switch off from the noise of daily life.
