Andorra Road Cycling Camp: Pyrenean Climbs & Pro Race Access

Andorra · 6 days · From EUR 1490

The camp runs from 20 to 25 June 2026, with check-in at the Hotel & Spa Rutllan in La Massana from 4pm on day one and the first dinner and welcome briefing that evening. There are five rides across the following five mornings, each starting from the hotel. Day two is the MoraBanc Classic ride — coffee and a team meeting in the paddock with the pros, then an 80.5km route with 2,300m of climbing over the race's own roads, with lunch served on the course. Day three heads up the climb of Arcalís and the climb of Vallnord to the Roc de la Roca viewpoint — two route options of 76km/2,205m or 62km/1,600m. Day four takes in the Col d'Envalira, Coll d'Ordino and the Beixalis climb: 87km and 2,520m for the stronger group, 70km and 1,800m for the other. Day five covers the Col de la Rabassa and Col de la Gallina (83km/2,515m or 60km/1,520m), and day six closes with the shorter Col de la Comella and Beixalis loop at 36km/1,115m or 29km/880m before lunch back at the hotel.

What sets this apart from a general Pyrenean cycling holiday is the coaching side. Tony Prévost was co-manager of the Arkéa pro team and founded the CPARTY cycling operation; Simon Lhuilier is a directeur sportif, coach and former Elite rider. Both ride with the groups and run the evening sessions, which cover nutrition, physical and sports preparation, training zones, recovery and equipment maintenance. You get Overstim.s solid and liquid nutrition packs for each outing, a follower truck carrying your personal belongings and refreshments, basic mechanical support (punctures, adjustments), daily bike cleaning and secure overnight storage, and daily laundry of your cycling kit.

Every participant gets a Gobik CX Pro short-sleeved jersey, two bottles and a personalised frame plate, plus a printed and PDF roadbook and the GPX tracks of each route, built around tourist interest and roads that work for cyclists. A photographer and drone operator follows the camp for photos and video. The camp is deliberately capped at 25 participants and always split into at least two levels, with a minimum of one coach per group, so beginners are not hung out on a mountain pass and stronger riders are not held back.

La Massana itself sits in the parish of the same name, northwest Andorra, at roughly 1,300m altitude, with the riding heading straight up from the valley into the Pyrenean passes. The hotel is on Avinguda del Ravell, a few minutes from the village centre, and full board means breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided daily, including a welcome drink, one glass of alcohol per meal and coffee. Non-riding companions can join for €790 and take part in briefings, all meals and group life, with free afternoons between lunch and the evening briefing.

Andorra is small enough that the riding is closer to your hotel than in the Alps, and the training effect of living and riding at altitude is real. The route selection favours well-surfaced climbs over sheer distance — most days land between 60km and 87km with 1,500m to 2,500m of climbing — and the last day is deliberately shorter so you can pack up and travel without wrecking your legs.
