Home › Retreats › Autumn Wellness Escape in Denmark: Yoga, Sauna & Nature
Denmark · 3 days · From EUR 597
The retreat is held at Seeds Of Life on Poppel Allé 25 in Dronningmølle, a coastal town on Denmark's north Zealand coast. It's close enough to Copenhagen for a weekend trip — roughly an hour by car or two hours by train — but far enough that the setting does the work of slowing you down. The property has its own sauna setup used for the retreat's saunagus sessions, and the sea is within reach for cold swims.
Two yoga classes run each day, plus a morning movement practice and journalling session at 7.30 on Saturday and Sunday. The style leans restorative: yin practice on Friday evening and yin yoga on Saturday afternoon, with a more active morning movement session to start the day. The two saunagus sessions — one Friday night, one Saturday at 16.00 — are led with essential oils and alternate heat with cold plunge or cold shower. That heat-cold cycle is the physical centrepiece of the weekend.
Food is fully catered: three plant-based, gluten-free and organic meals each day, including a Sunday brunch instead of a formal breakfast. Dietary requirements are handled by the organiser, so it's worth flagging anything specific at booking. A goodie bag is included, and there's a discount for anyone who has attended one of this organiser's retreats before.
The group is deliberately small — a maximum of 13 people — which means the yoga space stays uncrowded and meals are eaten together around a shared table. Accommodation is in twin rooms, with exactly one single room available at an extra 1,500 DKK. The price is 4,450 DKK per person (VAT included), or 3,750 DKK for anyone under 30. A 1,500 DKK deposit secures your place, and a payment plan is available on request.
This isn't a fitness retreat in the high-intensity sense — there's no strength training, no conditioning circuits and no performance goal. It's a structured rest weekend with yoga, sauna and journalling as the anchors. If you want to be worked hard, this isn't the trip. If you want a weekend where someone else handles the food, the schedule and the heat-and-cold routine, and the hardest decision is whether to swim, it fits well.
