United Kingdom · 4 days · From GBP 699 (indicative)
Days follow a steady shape. You wake, do a 75–90 minute dynamic yoga workshop, then eat breakfast at 10:00. Late morning is for the coast — either the trip to Salcombe or a guided walk along the South West Coast Path. Lunch is back at the house (except Saturday, when you eat out in Salcombe). Afternoons are free, with massage or the sea-swim-and-sauna add-on available on the Sunday. A gentle evening class at 18:00, dinner at 19:30, and that's the day.
The arrival day is lighter: guests arrive from 17:00, there's a gentle class at 18:00 and dinner at 19:30. Departure morning is a 08:00 class, breakfast at 09:00, and out by 10:00.
What separates this from a generic UK yoga weekend is the setting and the group size. The house is reserved exclusively for the group and sits close enough to the water that you fall asleep to the waves. The South West Coast Path starts at the door. Salcombe, a harbour town with boutique shops and restaurants, is a short journey away and gets a half-day of its own.
Katie Hodge founded Zenaa Retreats and leads the yoga herself. Guests repeatedly mention her teaching in reviews — one describes her as catering for all levels, another notes she sent updates, an itinerary and a suggested packing list before arrival. She also runs day retreats in Bath and at Thames Lido, and a seven-night retreat in Sri Lanka in early 2027.
Food comes from a private chef using local Devon produce, and it's included apart from Saturday lunch in Salcombe. Past guests name the chef (Jeanie) and describe the food as one of the highlights, alongside the walks and the company.
