Rishikesh · 7 days · From USD 531
Each day at Yan Cure follows a clear structure that mixes traditional yoga practices with therapeutic treatments. Mornings start early with Shat Kriya cleansing practices like Jal Neti, followed by a Hatha-based yoga session and a brief relaxation period. After breakfast, you'll receive your first round of Ayurvedic therapies, chosen based on your initial diagnosis. Afternoons include lunch, free time, and a second block of yoga or treatment, with meditation before dinner.
The center offers a wide range of treatments—more than 25 are listed—from classic massages like Abhyanga and Shirodhara to specialized ones like the Yan Cure Herbal Powder Massage and Patrapindasweda. You also have access to heat-based therapies like steam baths, herbal mud baths, and wet sheet packs. The program emphasizes detoxification and is designed to support weight loss while improving strength, flexibility, and energy levels.
What sets Yan Cure apart is the presence of Dr. Praveen Rana, the founder, who is a Ph.D. in Ayurveda and Yoga. He oversees the therapeutic side of the retreat and has designed specific treatments, including the Kayakalpa kriya, aimed at rejuvenation. The daily routine is personalized, with therapies adjusted to your condition; the staff keeps track of how you're responding and makes modifications accordingly.
The property itself is simple and comfortable. Rooms are equipped with double beds, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, with hot showers in the bathrooms. The dining area serves vegetarian Indian meals, mostly Ayurvedic, with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. While the retreat is not luxurious, it is clean and well-maintained, offering the kind of environment that allows you to focus on your health without distraction.
