Bahamas · 6 days
Guests stay on site at the resort in a private and serene environment that can take up to 20 people. The day-to-day rhythm is loose, but the pattern most groups settle into looks like this: a swim or beach walk before breakfast, a yoga session on the covered deck while it's still cool, then lunch and a free afternoon. Excursions fill the afternoons — diving, kayaking through the mangrove creeks, or a boat out to a private sandbar for lunch on the sand. Evenings are dinner and a slow walk down the beach.
What separates this from a typical resort is that you get the whole place to yourself and you set the agenda. Yoga instructors can bring their own group and use the shaded 40' x 20' deck, which looks straight out to the ocean. Company groups use the same space for morning sessions and team meetings. Families and friend groups tend to skip the schedule entirely and just use the beach.
The food is a genuine part of it. It's fresh and cooked to whatever diets the group needs — a recent group of 21 reported the kitchen catered to all of their dietary requirements without fuss. Seafood comes in local, there's local produce, and meals are served at the resort rather than in restaurants off-site.
Location-wise, South Andros is the quietest of the Bahamian islands — it's known as the nature island, with the third-largest barrier reef in the world offshore, blue holes inland, and mangrove channels that wind through the interior. It is not the Bahamas of resorts and shopping; it's the Bahamas of empty beaches, bonefishing flats, and coral you can swim to from the shore.
The staff make the logistics someone else's problem. A team of 21 who stayed recently described planning through to daily activities as seamless, with a warm and attentive crew handling every detail.
