Bavaria Football Training Camp: All-Inclusive Team Packages

Bavaria · 3 days · From EUR 189

The structure is straightforward. You choose a hotel from SOCCATOURS's Bavaria portfolio — places like Sporthotel Miesbach, Hotel INCLUDiO, Hotel Ullrich, Landhotel Kastenwirt or Hotel NuNa — and they assemble the package around it: rooms, full board, and training facilities. The standard format is 3 days and 2 nights, arriving one day and leaving two days later, with training slots built around meal times. Longer camps can be arranged on request.

Training typically happens twice a day. Morning sessions lean on fitness, coordination and technique; afternoons are more often tactics, game formats, set pieces or speed work, depending on what the coach asks for. Test matches against local clubs can be arranged. The training grounds are with partner clubs and are a short distance from the hotels — reviews repeatedly mention pitches being "a stone's throw" from the accommodation, and artificial turf that gets cleared of snow so winter camps can go ahead.

What sets this apart from booking a hotel and a pitch yourself is that one company holds the whole thing together. They've already reserved the best training times with partner clubs before the season starts, so you don't negotiate with anyone. If someone in your squad gets injured or drops out at short notice, they handle the change — several reviews specifically thank them for accommodating late cancellations. And if a participant falls ill, optional travel cancellation insurance through Allianz is offered so the club isn't left covering the cost.

Accommodation quality varies by hotel but is consistently rated highly — the company's own review average sits at 9.5 out of 10 across 64 reviews. Hotels are described as clean, with good food, and staff who deal directly with team contacts. A few are explicitly sports-oriented: Sporthotel Miesbach has gym and spa facilities, and Hotel INCLUDiO gets repeated praise for its buffet. Standard rooms are usually doubles or twins, with singles for coaches.

Demand is real. SOCCATOURS reports around 1,800 bookings in 2024 and a 94.8% recommendation rate, and they describe themselves as the largest training camp organiser in Europe. Camps are planned up to twelve months ahead, which is why booking early matters if you want a specific hotel or date. You can also visit a hotel in advance to check it suits your team — the team will arrange a viewing appointment, and if you need to stay overnight they offer special conditions for that.
