Dalmatia · 3 days · From EUR 1221
Days start early. Friday and Saturday, gym training is at 7:30am with Ben Bergeron coaching; Sunday shifts to a 7:00am group hike before the closing beach workout at 11:00am. Breakfast follows at 9:30am — served daily, and included — then a wellness workshop at 11:00am before the lunch break at 12:30pm. Lunch itself isn't provided, so you either cook in the house kitchen or walk to one of the nearby shops and restaurants.
The afternoons are deliberately open. Friday from 12:30pm you can go to the beach, explore, nap, or book an add-on. Saturday has the same free block, but at 3:00pm the whole group heads to the water fun park — that one's included in the package. Both days finish the same way: Yin Yoga with Heather at 4:30pm, Breathwork at 5:30pm, dinner at 6:30pm.
Sunday is shorter. Group hike at 7:00am, breakfast at 9:30am, a beach workout at 11:00am, then goodbyes and departures around midday. Arrival day is Thursday, August 28 — check-in at any time, welcome dinner at 7:00pm, and the retreat proper starts Friday. Checkout is Sunday afternoon, so an evening flight home makes sense.
What separates this from a generic fitness holiday is the coaching pair. Ben Bergeron runs CompTrain and is known for programming and coaching CrossFit Games athletes; Heather Bergeron leads the yoga and breathwork sessions. Both are on the schedule all weekend, not flown in for a single masterclass. The setting is a specific property on the Adriatic with its own beachfront gym and direct sea access, roughly an hour from Zadar International Airport, with historic sites and national parks nearby.
The accommodation is new-build and set up for recovery as much as comfort: air conditioning, premium bedding, private balconies with sea views, and two en-suite bathrooms in each beach house. There's a shared living room, outdoor patio, kitchen and dining space. Meals are locally sourced and designed around performance, served twice daily, with dietary requests handled if you flag them ahead of time.
Everything is within walking distance once you're there, and an airport shuttle from Zadar is available. It's a straightforward trip: fly in Thursday, train and recover through the weekend, fly out Sunday evening.
