The BodyMind Reset Week is a six-day retreat (five nights) at SunnyMind Travel's small centre in Sant'Antioco, Sardinia. The accommodation is made up of just four lodges, which keeps the group intimate and the atmosphere private. You'll have your own space—either a private lodge with a sea view or a single-person room—with a terrace facing the sea. The day-to-day schedule is deliberately loose on structure, but there's always a session to anchor the day: a morning BodyMind session (around 08:00–09:30) followed by breakfast, and an afternoon session (around 16:30–18:30) before dinner at 19:00, with space in between for a mindful walk or rest. Daily meditation, yoga, breathwork and movement are part of the package, delivered in a way that prioritises feeling over form, with Monique guiding participants away from performance and into awareness.
Monique is the host and lead facilitator. Her background is in psychology and physiotherapy, and she has trained in yin and yang yoga, mindfulness, and trauma integration. She has developed her own BodyMind framework called SunnyMind U|P!, which weaves together awareness, movement, rhythm, breath, and archetype work. The retreat itself is not about 'fixing' anyone—it's more about helping people find their own embodied self-leadership. Guests have commented on the intense breathwork sessions and the way the week moves from thinking to feeling, with one reviewer describing it as being 'freed from something' they had carried for years.
The location is a big part of the experience. Sant'Antioco is the oldest inhabited site in Sardinia, with fishing boats in the harbour, salt lakes, and flamingos nearby. The retreat centre is a 15-minute walk from the beach, and the lodges have full sea views—guests can watch the sunset from their terrace or under the pines. The food is prepared by Monique's husband, Toni, a half-Sardinian, half-Sicilian chef, using fresh, seasonal produce. Meals are grounding and light, designed to support the retreat's intention of rest and nourishment rather than restriction.
The package includes five nights' accommodation, all meals, daily BodyMind sessions (yoga, meditation, breathwork and movement), a guided nature walk, transfer to and from the local train station, and yoga mats and materials. Flights and airport transfers are not included. The group is kept small, with a maximum of six participants for personal attention. The retreat runs twice in 2027, each week with its own theme: 24–29 May ('trust as a base for growth') and 20–25 September ('receive as a base for letting go'). It's beginner-friendly in terms of yoga experience, but it's most suited to those who feel mentally and physically fatigued and are ready to dedicate a week to rest.
