Croatia Calling: Yoga & Wellness Escape on the Dalmatian Coast

Dubrovnik · 6 days · From USD 2158

Ninon Dubrovnik sits in tranquil countryside outside Dubrovnik, with views over the Adriatic Sea, green terraces and the village below. Every room on the property is named after a famous explorer or navigator, and no two rooms are identical — the interiors mix organic materials with an eclectic collection of objects rather than following a standard hotel template. Each room has sea views, air-conditioning, internet and an ensuite modern bathroom with a shower.

The daily rhythm is consistent. You start with a light snack and coffee or tea, then move into morning yoga and meditation. Brunch follows, then the middle of the day is unscheduled. Guests typically spend it by the infinity pool, on the terraces with a book, walking the limestone hills along the Dalmatian coast, or taking the short trip into Dubrovnik's old town. Afternoon yoga and meditation lead into dinner, with the sun setting over the sea.

Both classes each day are all-levels, so the week works whether you're deepening an existing practice or coming back to yoga after time away. Adrienne Kelly has studied yoga and nutrition for over 15 years and is known for an invigorating teaching style and detailed knowledge of nutrition and wellness. Michelle Corbeil is a senior yoga instructor and owner of Modo Yoga Danforth, now well into her second decade of teaching.

Dinner is where the kitchen's approach shows most clearly: ingredients are bio-organic, vegetables and fruit are picked from the Ninon gardens, and proteins are sourced from local vendors. Menus are adapted each day to what's available fresh from the market, so what you eat depends on what looked good that morning rather than a fixed rotation.

What separates this from a generic coastal yoga week is the combination of the two named instructors, a property small enough that the rooms are individually designed rather than repeated, and a kitchen that grows a meaningful share of its own produce. It's five nights, not seven, which keeps the trip short enough to fit into a normal holiday allowance while still giving you ten yoga sessions across the stay.
