Croatia Island Yoga Escape: Villa, Adriatic Views & Daily Practice

Croatia · 7 days · From USD 3380

The retreat runs June 13–19, 2026. You arrive at Supetar on Brač by ferry from Split (about an hour, roughly €6), and the team meets you at the terminal around 4pm for the ten-minute drive to the villa. From there the week settles into a rhythm: yoga in the morning before breakfast, free time or an excursion in the middle of the day, then a second, calmer class in the evening. Heather and Jess alternate and co-teach, and both have been teaching for decades — Heather since 2005, Jess since 2001. Props are provided, and modifications are offered in every class, so complete beginners and long-time practitioners end up in the same room.

The villa itself is the reason this one stands out from a standard yoga week. It sits in Mirca, a quiet village near Supetar, away from the main tourist strip. The grounds include a heated infinity pool, a jacuzzi, a wooden sundeck with loungers and a large stone veranda with a dining table. A path leads down between a small vineyard and an organic kitchen garden to a private pebble beach. The main house has four bedrooms and there's a two-bedroom annex; all rooms have private bathrooms, and some have terraces or balconies.

Three outings are built into the price. The Vidova Gora day starts with a 1.5-hour hike to the highest point on the island — the views take in the Golden Cape below — then a drive down to Golden Cape beach for a picnic packed by the chef, swimming, and a 20-minute walk into Bol for dinner at a local tavern (that meal is on you). The boat day goes to Hvar town for free time, then on to the Pakleni Islands for a swim stop and a beach bar, back at the villa in time for dinner. Weather permitting. The third is a guided tour and tasting at the Olive Oil Museum in Škrip, the island's oldest village, with prosciutto, local olive oil, spreads, tomatoes and wine.

Food is handled by an in-house chef using produce from local farmers. Two meals and a snack are included each day — usually breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner, depending on what's scheduled. The menu leans vegetarian and vegan, with gluten-free options and fish on some days. Coffee, tea, fruit and snacks are out all day. You'll eat four lunches and one dinner on your own during excursions, which is the point — it gets you into the local restaurants.

The group caps at 13, which matters here. It's small enough that the teachers know your name and can adjust a class on the spot, and small enough that the villa never feels crowded. Rooms are priced per person at $3,800 in either double or triple occupancy; the triple is female-only and has three twin beds, a large ensuite with shower and jacuzzi tub, and a big top-floor balcony. If you're travelling solo, you'll be assigned a roommate of the same gender in a double, or placed in the triple if you're a woman.
