Home › Retreats › CrossFit & Surf Retreat on Siargao Island: 8 Days of Training, Waves and Island Life
Philippines · 8 days · From EUR 1250
Training happens at CrossFit Siargao, an open-air box set among tall palm trees in General Luna, where the sessions run about 60 minutes with certified CrossFit coaches. You'll get one coached workout a day, and crucially, your gym access is unlimited — so if you want to come back in the afternoon for a second session, lift on your own, or work on something specific, you can. Coaches scale every workout, so a first-timer and someone who trains five days a week can do the same class.
The afternoons are where the holiday part lives. There are two surf lessons included with board hire — Siargao is genuinely famous for its waves, and the break out front at Cloud 9 is one of the most photographed in Asia. Beyond surfing there's a full island hopping tour out to the pale-sand islands, a land tour of Siargao itself, and a wakeboarding session at Siargao Wakepark. A scooter rental is included for the whole week, which is the real key to the place — you can ride into General Luna's town centre for coffee or dinner, find a quiet beach, or just explore at your own pace.
The accommodation is Bravo Beach Resort, a boutique resort of villas that mixes traditional Filipino architecture with modern furniture. It sits directly on the beach, so you walk out of your room onto sand, and it has a pool, a restaurant and communal areas where the group naturally ends up together in the evenings. CrossFit Siargao is a two-minute walk from the resort door — you genuinely do roll out of bed and into the gym.
The retreat runs three times in 2026: 5–12 April, 12–19 July and 13–20 September. Pricing is per person and depends on the room: 1,750 EUR for a private room, 1,450 EUR for a double shared with a friend or partner, and 1,250 EUR for a dorm room sleeping up to four. All three include the same programme — the only difference is where you sleep.
It's an 8-day trip with 7 nights at the resort, and it works well whether you're going alone or with someone. Solo travellers tend to book the dorm or a private room; couples and friends book the double. What sets it apart from a generic fitness holiday is that everything is walkable or rideable from the resort, the gym is a serious CrossFit affiliate with certified coaches rather than a hotel fitness room, and the surf and island components are built into the price instead of being optional add-ons you book separately.
