Home › Retreats › Deepen Your Yoga Practice: A 300-Hour Multi-Style Teacher Training in Rishikesh
Rishikesh · 28 days · From USD 559
The 300-hour training at Arohan Yoga is built around a balanced curriculum that treats yin and yang as equally important. Each morning starts with Ashtanga Vinyasa flow, moves into Hatha, and then the afternoon brings philosophy, anatomy, alignment, and adjustments. Evenings are given to Aerial Yoga and Yin Yoga, so you're constantly moving between dynamic and passive practice, which is rare in most 300-hour courses.
The teaching team is one of the school's biggest assets. Neeraj, an E-RYT 500, has been teaching for 12 years and specializes in Yin, Iyengar, and philosophy. Sumit and Deepak both hold Master's degrees in Yoga, with nine years each of experience, and Deepak has also taught in Bali. Ravi is pursuing a doctorate in yoga and is an Ashtanga expert, while Manisha brings 15 years of experience in meditation and pranayama. Sonali rounds out the team with her focus on Yin, Hatha, and detox. With six teachers, you get a wealth of perspectives.
Rishikesh itself is known as the 'Yoga Capital of the World,' and the school is right on the Ganges. You'll be surrounded by the sounds of the river and the forest, with a view of the Shivalik mountains. The atmosphere is rustic, peaceful, and grounded — a real retreat from distraction.
The course includes not just the physical practice but also theory: yoga philosophy, functional anatomy, Ayurveda, and teaching methodology. You'll learn how to sequence classes, adjust students safely, and understand the principles of injury prevention. You'll also learn detox techniques like Shata Karma and a range of pranayama. By the end, you'll be prepared to teach a variety of classes with confidence.
