Home › Retreats › Galapagos Islands Yoga Retreat: 8-Day Adventure with Daily Yoga and Wildlife Excursions
Ecuador · 8 days · From USD 3700
The retreat is based at Galapagos Magic Camp on a 60-acre farm and tortoise sanctuary in the Santa Cruz highlands. You sleep in a treehouse, a safari tent or a lodge suite, and the camp is surrounded by hiking trails, lava tubes and wildlife. Daily yoga with Natasha Scott is the anchor of the schedule, and two guided excursions take you to see the islands' wildlife and geology.
Natasha has practised yoga for over 20 years and has taught since early 2018. She is an RYT 500 and E-RYT 200 registered teacher, and her classes draw on power yoga and yin, with an alignment-based approach. She taught around the world before settling in Santa Fe in 2020. Expect classes that focus on how each pose feels rather than how it looks.
The week includes a special dinner inside a lava tube cavern. There is also time to visit the nearby town for shopping and sightseeing, take beach trips, or book optional tours for an extra fee. The camp is a working farm, so meals are farm-to-table and the setting is rural rather than resort-like.
Accommodation is in three tiers: Treehouse Lodging from $3,700, Safari Tent from $3,900, and Lodge Suite from $4,200, all plus tax. Treehouse and safari tent guests share a bath-house; the lodge suite has its own bathroom and a cold plunge. The camp accommodates a small group, and the atmosphere is relaxed and outdoorsy.
Getting around the islands is included in the package, so you do not need to arrange local transport. The retreat is designed for people who want daily yoga alongside wildlife and hiking, not a luxury spa week. You should be comfortable walking on uneven ground and being outdoors for several hours a day.
