Greece · 8 days · From EUR 1850
The week is built around a mix of fitness, group sessions, and time outdoors. Fitness sessions run most days and are adapted to whoever's in the group — if you've never done a structured workout before, that's fine; if you train regularly, you'll still get something out of it. Ed leads these, drawing on his background as a certified personal trainer. The 'Find Your Magic' group sessions are the other anchor of the programme: these are facilitated conversations and exercises designed to help you get clearer on what you actually want, not what you think you should want. They're described as playful rather than heavy, and they work best when everyone participates.
Rob Sykes leads the sound journeys — immersive sessions using instruments and voice that are meant to shift your nervous system into a calmer state. He's a trained sound therapist who works both in the UK and in Crete, and he also offers one-to-one sessions using voice analysis and vibrational retuning if you want to go deeper. Guided meditations are slotted in throughout the week, usually in the mornings or late afternoons.
Excursions take the group to some of Crete's standout spots. The itinerary isn't fixed in stone, but past retreats have included beach days with wild swimming, hikes through coastal or mountain terrain, and visits to local villages or historical sites. The villa is near Douliana, in the Apokoronas region, which puts you within easy reach of both the north coast beaches and the foothills of the White Mountains. Chania, with its Venetian harbour and old town, is a short drive away.
Food is a big part of the week. Most meals are eaten together at the villa — simple, nourishing cooking with plenty of vegetables, olive oil, and local produce — and a few meals are taken out at tavernas so you get a taste of Cretan cooking proper. Dietary requirements can be accommodated if you flag them in advance.
The retreat is scheduled for June 2026. Group size is kept small, and the accommodation is a shared twin room by default, though private rooms and upgrades can be arranged. Airport transfers from Chania (CHQ) are included, so you don't need to worry about getting from the airport to the villa.
