Golden Balance: 4-Day Reset, Detox & Yoga Retreat in Alentejo, Portugal

Day one is a travel day. A transfer collects you from Lisbon airport at 4pm and brings you to Casa Alma in São Luís. There's a welcome drink and opening ceremony at 7pm, then dinner at 8pm. The following three mornings begin with a gentle yoga flow at 8am, followed by breakfast at 9.15am.

Day two is the quietest. After breakfast you have free time until 11am to rest or explore the village, lunch is at 1pm, and at 5pm there's a sound healing session. Dinner is at 8pm. Day three is the fullest: after yoga and breakfast, you head out for a horse riding experience at 11am, then a picnic lunch at the beach at 1pm, with free beach time from 2pm before dinner back at Casa Alma at 7pm. Day four closes with a final 8am yoga flow, breakfast at 9am and goodbyes, then an 11am transfer back to Lisbon airport.

The yoga is described as gentle and slow, with no end goal beyond feeling at home within yourself. Sessions are suitable for beginners and anyone who wants a softer practice. The sound healing journey on day two is a separate session, not part of the yoga class.

Casa Alma sits in São Luís, a small village in the Alentejo. The region is known for cork oaks, rolling farmland and a coastline that stays quiet outside high season. The beach picnic on day three is part of the programme, so you get time on the sand without having to plan it yourself. Transfers to and from Lisbon airport are included, which removes the need to arrange a car.

The retreat runs on fixed dates: 28–31 October 2026, then 26–29 March, 26–29 April, 12–15 May, 27–30 September, 27–30 October and 27–30 December 2027. Each departure is four days, all-inclusive, with twin or single room pricing.
