Gwinganna runs as a fully inclusive wellness retreat. You pick a package length — 2 day Wellness Weekend, through to the full 7 Day Detox — and the price covers your accommodation, organic meals and the programme of activities and spa inclusions for that retreat. The retreat is set on 160 hectares of pristine Gold Coast hinterland, surrounded by native bushland, with views across the valley and coast.

The daily rhythm leans on mornings outdoors and afternoons in the spa. Guests move between gentle movement sessions, wellness experiences, organic cuisine and rest. The retreat describes its approach as combining organic living, healing spa treatments, gentle movement, expert guidance and deep rest. There is a dedicated spa on site with its own menu of treatments, and the Spa Sanctuary inclusions are part of the offer currently running.

What separates Gwinganna from a standard spa hotel is the length of the programme and the structure around it. This is a place where you arrive for two to seven nights and follow a set retreat rather than booking treatments à la carte. The retreat also runs talks and sessions with speakers as part of The Experience, and has a published cuisine programme under Our Cuisine.
