Koh Samui · 7 days · From USD 1100
A typical training day at FITKOH starts early, before the heat builds. HYROX sessions run 60 minutes and are built around the format that makes HYROX hard: 1km of running followed by a functional station, then repeat. You'll see sled pushes and pulls, wall balls, burpee broad jumps, sandbag lunges, rowing and ski erg intervals — scaled so a first-timer can finish the round and a competitive athlete still gets pushed. Coach Arti leads the HYROX programming and is on the floor correcting technique, not just calling the clock.
What separates this camp from a run-of-the-mill fitness holiday is the breadth on one site. Beyond HYROX you can train Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, join kettlebell and mobility classes, do a strength or weight-loss program, and finish the week with a hike Arti leads herself. That means a couple can come together and train completely differently, or one person can build a genuinely varied week instead of doing the same class seven days running.
Mornings are usually the hardest sessions, timed to beat the Samui heat, with breakfast after. Late mornings and early afternoons hold skill work or second sessions depending on your program — Muay Thai pads, BJJ drilling, kettlebell technique or a mobility class. Afternoon training slants towards recovery: yoga, stretching, or a swim, with the option of an extra conditioning block if you're on a race build. Evenings are for eating, resting and getting to bed; the camp runs on the idea that recovery is part of the training.
Because the camp is all-in-one, you don't lose hours commuting between a hotel, a gym and a restaurant. Training spaces, meals and accommodation sit together, so a full day of classes, food, recovery and downtime fits into a schedule that doesn't exhaust you before you've trained. Groups are small enough that coaches know your name and your injury history by day two.
The camp suits a range of people: someone training for their first HYROX event, a regular gym-goer who wants a structured week rather than an unsupervised one, or a mixed-ability group of friends who want to train, eat well and be on an island. It does not suit anyone looking for a poolside holiday with an optional stretch class — the timetable is full and attendance is expected, though you always choose your own intensity.
