Home › Retreats › HYROX Training Camp in Poland: 5 Nights of Hybrid Racing Prep with Anna Lewandowska
Poland · 6 days · From PLN 6500
The camp is organised in partnership with HYROX Poland, and that shapes everything. The DOJO Stara Wieś — the European Budo Centre — is normally a martial arts training centre, the largest in Europe for Far Eastern martial arts and combat sports, built in Japanese style among fields and forest on the edge of the Przedbórz Landscape Park. For this week it's fitted out with competition-grade HYROX equipment: rowing ergometers, ski ergometers, push and pull sleds, wall balls, kettlebells and sandbags. You're not approximating race conditions in a hotel gym; you're using the same gear you'll race on.
The programme is a professionally designed HYROX system: hybrid training that combines strength and endurance, with an emphasis on technique and movement quality. There are performance tests during the week so progress is measurable rather than a feeling, and the coaching covers realistic race preparation and how to reach the next level of fitness without overloading. Educational sessions cover race strategy and mental preparation.
Coaching comes from certified coaches who are among Poland's leading HYROX athletes, alongside Anna Lewandowska and her team, who also compete. Anna has years of coaching experience and holds fitness and personal training certifications including CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, has completed numerous nutrition courses, and is a multiple medallist at World, European and Polish Championships in traditional karate. She's currently completing her HYROX coach certification. Jakub Jandura, Country Manager of HYROX Poland, is a certified personal trainer with HYROX Level 1 certification and competes himself. Luis Pajares, based at Edan Studio in Barcelona, is a CrossFit Level 2 Coach and competitor with a background in football, calisthenics and functional training. Małgorzata Reysner has been a personal trainer and fitness instructor since 2006, specialising in CrossFit, functional training and high-intensity work, a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer since 2015 and named Top Trainer by Shape magazine in 2016.
Recovery is scheduled rather than optional: sauna, ice bath, shared recovery equipment, and a massage or physiotherapy consultation. The camp frames this as part of the training — conscious load management so you can train hard across consecutive days and still be useful on the last one.
Food is full board — breakfast, lunch and dinner — prepared by professional chefs to Anna Lewandowska's guidelines and recipes, using healthy products from organic brands that partner with her. The stated aim is a diet that supports recovery and energy for intense sessions, and habits you keep after you go home. The camp starts Tuesday afternoon and ends Sunday after lunch.
