Wadi Rum · 8 days · From EUR 2145 (indicative)
Day one is arrival only. You check into the Toledo Amman Hotel, meet the group over dinner and get an early night. Day two starts with yoga and breakfast before a five to six hour drive south, with a lunch stop in Dana and views across Wadi Araba, arriving in Wadi Rum in time for sunset, yoga and dinner at a comfortable Bedouin camp.
Day three stays in the desert. Sunrise yoga, then five to six hours out in Wadi Rum by camel and jeep, with short walks between the rock formations, back to camp for evening yoga and dinner under the sky. Day four is a shorter two-hour drive north to Little Petra, where you walk the archaeological site, then take a short walk to a private camp near Petra for meditation, yoga and dinner.
The Petra hike is day five and it is the hardest day of the week: five to seven hours and about 10 to 12 km on a mountain route into the site via the Monastery, with a picnic lunch, then the Colonnaded Street and Royal Tombs. That night is the Bedouin cave. Day six is a four to five hour drive along the King's Highway to the Dead Sea, where the afternoon is free to float and rest. Day seven goes back up the King's Highway to Mount Nebo and the mosaics at Madaba, then on to Amman for a final night at the Toledo. Day eight is breakfast and the airport transfer.
What separates this from a standard Jordan itinerary is the walking. You enter Petra on foot from the mountains rather than through the main tourist entrance, and you spend two nights in the desert rather than day-tripping it. The yoga is led throughout the trip and placed where the landscape does the work — sunrise in Wadi Rum, sunset at camp, a slow session before the Petra hike.
A local English-speaking guide joins on selected days, and private air-conditioned transport covers every drive. The group is capped at ten women, which keeps the camp and the trail quiet. Two departures are listed: 2–9 May 2027 and 30 October–6 November 2027.
