Home › Retreats › Kashubian Lakes Detox & Weight Loss Retreat with Dietitian Support
Poland · 5 days · From EUR 73
The programme is sold as a nightly rate with a five-night minimum, so it effectively runs as a week-long detox stay or anything longer you book. The medical side is front-loaded: on arrival you get a welcome fit cocktail, then a dietitian does your body composition analysis and takes measurements. You meet them again for a consultation, and there's a lecture covering how to step off the diet without putting the weight back on. The food itself is four meals a day — the kitchen runs a specific vegetable and fruit diet as well as a reduction diet, both written up under the resort's weight-loss programme.
The activity timetable runs Monday to Saturday. Mornings typically start with a warm-up and stretching, then Nordic walking around the lake with poles from reception. Aqua aerobics uses the indoor pool, and themed classes run in the gymnasium. Instructors lead all of it — this is a guided schedule rather than a gym you use on your own, although the cardio gym is open for independent sessions. The pool area has a SPA bay, bubble bath, neck-and-back massaging loungers, an experience shower, heated loungers and an ice machine, open 9am to 9pm. The dry sauna and steam bath are open 9am to noon and again 6pm to 9pm. Massages and facials beyond the included 25-minute back massage are booked separately at the spa price list.
Off the mat, there's more here than at a typical weight-loss clinic. Water equipment is free: pedal boats, kayaks, rowboats and an electric motorboat, plus off-road bikes. There's a fit-park outdoors and a game zone with darts, billiards, foosball and a bowling alley. The Adler restaurant runs the main dining room.
What separates this from a generic Polish spa hotel deal is the dietitian involvement and the fact that the supervised programme is priced into the stay rather than added on. The resort also runs separate packages for physiotherapy-based stays, a general fit-and-health break, and shorter SPA and romantic packages, so the detox guests share the facilities with other kinds of guests rather than being on a closed group retreat.
A note on what this isn't: there's no set group, no fixed start date, and no single instructor leading a cohort through a week. You book your own dates, you're booked into the dietitian schedule individually, and you join the group activity classes that run for all guests. If you want a structured retreat with a fixed group and a named coach, this is a different thing.
