Home › Retreats › Luxury 2-Day Yoga & Breathwork Reset Near Cape Town
South Africa · 2 days · From EUR 1520
The retreat runs on a fixed two-day schedule but dates are arranged to suit you, so you tell them your ideal window and they confirm availability. Day one starts in the early afternoon with check-in and that welcome drink. Late afternoon is the Vinyasa session on the deck — the view is the point here, with Table Mountain filling the horizon. After that comes a candlelit crystal-bowl sound session, which is exactly what it sounds like: you lie down, the bowls get played, and most people drift off. Dinner is three courses, farm-to-table, built from whatever is seasonal and organic that week.
Day two begins with a guided walk through the fynbos to an Atlantic viewpoint for sunrise, with honeybush tea served there. Then it's back for facilitator-led journaling, a private breathwork masterclass, and seated meditation. Breakfast follows — smoothie bowls, house-baked seed bread, fresh-pressed juices, barista coffee. The final piece is a one-on-one integration session before departure, where you work out what you're actually taking home, and they give you a personalised practice sheet. Optional add-ons include massage therapy, an extra overnight stay, or off-site excursions they've curated.
What makes this different from a standard Cape Town yoga weekend is the setting and the size. It's a secluded cliffside property above indigenous forest, capped at eight guests, and the facilities are unusually complete for a two-day stay: indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, gym, meditation garden, yoga studio and deck, sauna, and cold plunge. The accommodation is split between Canopy Pods — glass-fronted cocoons above the forest with king beds, organic linen, ensuite rain showers and private decks — and the Sky Villa, which has four ensuite rooms with private terraces plus shared spaces including a lounge with fireplace, infinity pool, sauna, cold plunge and a stargazing deck. Both use natural timber and stone finishes.
The facilitator team is confirmed before your stay, and the page doesn't name individuals — you can ask who'll be guiding your dates. No prior wellness experience is needed; beginners and advanced practitioners are both welcome. Meals are tailored to the group, including dietary needs, so you tell them yours and they confirm. On-site amenities cover free Wi-Fi, free parking, air-conditioning, daily housekeeping, laundry, and round-the-clock host support.
The location, 10 Hunters Way in Hout Bay, puts you just outside Cape Town on the Atlantic seaboard — close enough for a city add-on, far enough that it feels like a proper break. Full directions and travel guidance are shared once your booking is confirmed. Cancellation terms are set by the retreat leader and confirmed with you before you pay anything, and there are no booking fees added to the leader's price. You send a request with your preferred dates, they confirm availability and final pricing, and you deal directly with the person running the retreat.
