United States · 7 days · From EUR 1695
Sean Fagan started Muay Thai at Stockade Muay Thai in Kingston, NY under JJ Russo, at the end of a boxing career. Thirty-plus fights later he'd competed on Lion Fight, fought on national Thai television, won two amateur championships (one of them with a broken arm), and taken a title at Madison Square Garden. He retired from competing and went full-time into coaching. His YouTube channel and Muay Thai Guy brand have reached millions of fighters and hobbyists, and these vacations are how he brings that same instruction into a room full of real students for a full week at a time.
Each trip is built so you leave with more than photos. The training is real: Muay Thai technique sessions with Sean and a hand-picked team, partner drills, pad work, and conditioning that scales to your level. In Costa Rica you also get daily morning yoga with a pro instructor and open BJJ sessions. In Thailand you add combat strength work, kettlebells on the beach, ice baths, breathwork, yoga and mobility. In Morocco it's Muay Thai with sea views in the morning, surf in the Atlantic swell, and yoga at sunset.
The rest of the day is built around whatever makes the destination worth flying to. In Nosara that means surf lessons or a full body massage, waterfall hikes, beach bonfires and sunset watch parties, plus a saltwater infinity pool ranked one of the 10 coolest in the world. In Thailand it's a sunset boat trip, a waterfall hike, and Songkran on Chaweng Beach Road with your team. In Morocco you wander souks and medinas between sessions and eat tagine dinners together.
Food is part of the deal. Chef-prepared meals are included on the Costa Rica and Thailand trips, with three meals a day plus a post-workout tropical smoothie. The New York weekend covers brunch, dinners and drinks at local spots. Accommodation is curated to match the destination — eco-friendly luxury at the edge of the jungle in Costa Rica, FitKoh in Ban Tai for Thailand, a boutique stone hotel on the Moroccan Atlantic, and Sean's own private Hudson Valley studio for the New York weekend.
Groups run from 1–2 people on the New York weekend up to 15–30 on the Costa Rica and Thailand trips. The Morocco trip is capped at 10–15. Experience levels are deliberately mixed — people who've never thrown a punch standing next to folks with a decade of gym time. Ages skew adult, with guests regularly in their 50s and 60s. If you're not sure which trip is right, the team offers a quick call to talk through your experience level, schedule and goals.
