The retreat is built around daily yoga with Liseanne, held at the lodge. Trout Point Lodge is the setting, and it does a lot of the work. It sits in remote Nova Scotia forest, and guests who have been before single out the scenery and the food as much as the yoga. Meals are gourmet and included in the stay, and staff take time with each guest.

What separates this from a generic lodge yoga weekend is Liseanne herself. She is a registered massage therapist with over a decade of experience, and she has hosted retreats in the French Alps, the Greek islands and the Peruvian jungle. She also teaches Functional Yoga at Saison Pilates in Bridgewater and community yoga at the Mill Village Fire Hall, so the teaching style is steady and practical rather than performative.

This is a co-ed weekend, unlike her women-only weeks in France and Peru. It runs 30 October 2026, and booking goes through a waitlist for the fall dates.
