The week has a fixed shape. Day 1 is arrival: airport pick-up, check-in at the Funchal hotel, and dinner with the group in the evening. Day 2 is the jeep day, leaving central Funchal at 9:00 for Cabo Girão, Seixal, Porto Moniz and the Fanal forest, rated level 1 of 5 for effort. Day 3 takes you into the central mountains with a guide, and Day 4 covers the east coast and the north — Machico, Santana and Pico do Areeiro. On both guided days you walk your chosen distance, roughly 2, 6 or 9 km.

Day 5 and Day 6 have no programme. The operator suggests the sea, a sunrise start or simply taking Funchal slowly, and lists optional experiences with prices: a three-hour catamaran trip from Funchal with a bar included (€115), sunrise at Pico do Areeiro by car up to 1818 m with a driver-guide (€85), canyoning for beginners with certified guides and all equipment (€98), a 50-minute fado night with a glass of Madeira wine (€38), Monte Palace tropical garden with a guide and a one-way cable car ride (€89), and the Pico do Areeiro to Pico Ruivo crossing with transport (€79), which needs very good fitness. If the whole group picks the boat, it becomes a private yacht for the twelve of you. Day 6 ends with the farewell dinner. Day 7 is a free morning depending on your flight, then the transfer to the airport.

What separates this from a standard guided walking week is the pace system. The group only splits on the two guided days, and the three levels are described concretely: Savour is viewpoints by car and short, almost always flat strolls; Stride follows almost flat levadas at the group's pace with stops; Summit takes the long version of each route with climbs. The operator notes that the jeep day includes an off-road descent, and anyone with back or heart problems or who is pregnant does the same route by minibus at no extra cost.

Groups come in four flavours: mixed, women only, men only, and a group for people travelling alone who want to leave with friends. A private group price is available if you are already a group of friends. The trip is confirmed with 8 people; if that number is not reached you are told up to 20 days before departure and everything you paid is refunded.

The operator is a registered travel agency (RNAVT no. 3301). Booking runs through WhatsApp with a consultant: you send your pace, experiences, group and month, receive a proposal with the dates, hotel, inclusions, terms and the standard package travel information form, and only pay once you accept it. The exact guided routes come with the proposal, before you pay. If a route closes or the weather turns, the order of days or the hike is swapped.
