Home › Retreats › Mediterranean Fitness Retreat for Women — One Week of Strength, Cardio and Sea Views
Europe · 7 days · From USD 700
Days are built around two training blocks. Mornings are usually the harder session — strength work with weights, circuits, or a cardio set that finishes around breakfast. The second session lands in the late afternoon and is often outside the gym: a run along the coast road, a hike, stairs on the beach, or a stretch-and-mobility hour on the mat. Between the two you have the middle of the day completely free — the sea is walking distance and the kitchen is always open.
The training is programmed for a mixed group, so complete beginners train alongside women who have been lifting for years. Everything has a scaled option, and the trainer adjusts load and volume on the day rather than handing out one blanket workout. If your knees are shot or you have never touched a barbell, you say so on day one and the week gets planned around it.
What separates this from a big resort fitness holiday is the size. With a handful of women on site, sessions run almost like small-group personal training — more correction on form, more time on the bits you actually need work on, and the option to swap a group session for something more specific if a group class isn't what you need that day.
The house sits close to the water, which is the real selling point. You can finish a session, shower, and be swimming within fifteen minutes. Evenings are quiet — dinner is cooked on site, people eat together, and most nights end early because the 07:00 session comes round fast. It is a straightforward, training-first week rather than a spa break with a couple of classes bolted on, and it suits women who want to be tired in a good way by Friday.
