Balearic Islands · 7 days · From EUR 1800
A typical day starts early but not aggressively. Breakfast is laid out in the garden — fruit, eggs, bread, coffee — before the first session, which is usually a guided meditation or a sound therapy circle in one of the indoor rooms or outside if the weather is good. Katja leads these herself. Mid-morning tends to be the most structured part of the day: a workshop-style session on a theme set at the start of the week, or a coaching conversation within the group.
Lunch is a cooked vegetarian meal, often eaten at a long table in the garden. The afternoons are deliberately left open. Guests use them for the saltwater pool, the jacuzzi, a massage booked on site, or a walk in the surrounding protected natural area. Some afternoons include a cacao ceremony or music therapy session — these are scheduled rather than daily, and the exact mix depends on the group.
Evening meals are cooked at the house, and the tone is relaxed. There is no bar and no late-night programme; most evenings wind down early. Guests who want to go into Palma or down to the coast can do so — the house is 15-20 minutes from the city — but most stay put.
What separates this from a standard yoga or spa week is the coaching element. Katja works with each guest on something specific, whether that is a career decision, a relationship pattern, or simply building confidence. Several past guests describe arriving with a defined goal and leaving having addressed something adjacent to it. Sessions are not clinical; they are conversational, held in the garden or a quiet room, and paced around what the group is ready for.
The property itself is a significant part of the experience. It is a traditional Mallorcan hacienda with bohemian interiors, set inside a protected natural area, so there is no traffic noise and no neighbouring development. Gardens wrap around the house, including a small zen garden. The pool and jacuzzi look out over the landscape. Rooms are individually decorated rather than uniform, and guests usually share or take a private room depending on the retreat format.
