Muay Thai & Fitness Camp Mallorca with World Champion Pedro Torres

Muay Thai & Fitness Camp Mallorca with World Champion Pedro Torres

Mallorca · 7 days · From EUR 199

A typical day has two training windows. You can take your Muay Thai workout in the morning, catching the sunrise over the outdoor gym, or in the afternoon under the sunset, and you can switch as you like across the week. Fitbox runs daily Monday to Saturday as the second session — 55 minutes of kickboxing and Muay Thai technique on the bags and mitts, all timed to music. Each class is built so that one exercise works five or six muscle groups, and the sessions are pitched as a fat-burning, toning workout that also builds cardio. Some training sessions move to the beach, which is a genuine change of scene rather than a gimmick, and group runs are part of the basic conditioning work.

For Muay Thai specifically, the camp covers the fundamentals properly: stance and footwork, the group runs, clinch work with the cloth, and pad and bag rounds. If you're at a more advanced level, the programme shifts toward technique refinement and sparring with other students. There's no assumption you've trained before — the camp states plainly that you don't need previous experience and that they supply the preparation and materials you need. If you want more than the standard two sessions, you can add extra classes; the camp also sells standalone week passes for Muay Thai and Fitbox if you want to extend.

The gym itself is the reason this camp feels different from a European fitness holiday. It's an outdoor space surrounded by nature on the edge of town, with a professional ring, punching bags, truck wheels, a calisthenics park and a weight room. Training outside under palm trees in Mallorca's climate is the whole point of the setup, and it's a reasonable stand-in for the Thai camps Pedro came up through. He trained at Sasiprapa gym in Thailand alongside fighters like Rungravee Sasiprapa, Boo Saengathit, Malaipet Sasiprapa and Fabio Pinca, won the European Muay Thai Championship in 2011, then took the AITMA world title in Ayutthaya. He still fights professionally and now prepares amateurs and pros at his own gym, so you're getting coached by someone who competes at the level he's teaching.

Fitbox is led by Lucrezia Folliero, the 2021 Balearic Champion. She started in kickboxing in Italy, moved to Spain in 2014 and began her Muay Thai career there; she's an active professional who has competed nationally and internationally, and holds the IBFF (Italian Boxing Fitness and Federation) Fitbox instructor certificate. The classes are designed to be safe and accessible at any age and fitness level while still being a hard workout — the camp cites around 800 calories burned per session, plus improvements to coordination, circulation and stress levels.

Accommodation is arranged through a partner, Mallorca Charm, with several options depending on group size and the category you pick. Everything is five to ten minutes by car from the gym, and a few minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches on Mallorca, so you can recover from training with a swim in clear water and time on the sand. All coaching is delivered in English, German, French, Italian or Spanish. The camp is built for people who want a real training holiday rather than a resort with a gym in the basement — but it's equally workable for someone who has never put on gloves and just wants to come back fitter.
