Padel Coaching Week on Spain's Costa del Sol

The week follows a clear rhythm: two hours of technique work each morning (footwork, positioning, shot mechanics), then two more hours in the afternoon focused on match tactics and drills. Days 5 and 6 shift to competition — a mini-tournament with everyone who's been training together, finishing with a trophy ceremony before checkout on day 7.

Coaching is led by local pros who know these courts well. The founder, Kal, grew up playing tennis at this very club, so the operation is rooted here rather than a one-off pop-up. Groups are balanced by ability after the first-day assessment, which means beginners aren't stuck chasing balls from advanced players, and competitive types still get pushed.

The Royal Tennis Club itself is a proper sports hotel rather than a generic resort with a court tacked on. The courts are well-maintained, there's a gym, an outdoor pool, and a Mediterranean restaurant on a garden terrace. The El Rosario neighbourhood is quiet — you're away from the tourist noise but close enough to drive into Marbella's Old Town or Puerto Banús when you want dinner or nightlife.

Marbella's coastal microclimate helps too: daytime temperatures sit around 18–25°C, so mornings on court are warm but not brutal. Over 300 days of sunshine a year means the schedule rarely gets rained out.
