Phone-Free Digital Detox Week in the Georgian Mountains

Phone-Free Digital Detox Week in the Georgian Mountains

Europe · 7 days · From EUR 598

The week is built around one rule: the phone stays in the safe. At the opening circle on Monday evening everyone hands in their devices together, and they stay locked away until the closing circle on Sunday morning. The hosts, Jonas and Nikita, both work in tech and built the week they wanted to go on themselves. It is not an anti-technology week. At the closing circle you decide which habits come home with you.

Mornings start with meditation, then yoga on the open-air platform, then an unhurried breakfast. Late morning is for the mind: a practical talk on themes like stress, burnout, sleep, attention and habits, followed by small circles. Afternoons are for moving or resting, with guided hikes on golden autumn trails, mountain games, journaling or a nap. Evenings bring a second short meditation, dinner, the sauna and ice bath, and the campfire.

The schedule is a guide, not a timetable. Mountain weather in late October changes fast, so on rainy or snowy days sessions move under a roof, the long hike becomes a shorter walk or a snow walk, and more time goes to the sauna and the fire. The team checks the forecast every morning and tells you the plan for the day.

What separates this from a standard wellness week is the phone box and the people running it. Jonas founded Glamping Tago eight years ago and spends the rest of his working life in tech. Nikita has been a frontend developer for more than ten years, founded IT Soul Camp to bring tech people into the mountains, and co-founded the TechSapiens community in Batumi. In April 2026 the two co-hosted Altitude AI Weeks at the same camp. This week is the other side of that coin.

The camp sits on a hillside above Tago in the highlands of Adjara, with the valley opening up below and layers of forested mountains to the horizon. There are 12 Lotus Belle tents, a wood-fired sauna with a cold plunge, a yoga platform, a vegetarian restaurant cooking with local produce, and campfire spots. The property is deliberately small so groups have it to themselves. It is not a luxury hotel, and that is part of the point.
