Plant Medicine & Integration Week in the Algarve Countryside

Days start slow. Breakfast is at 09:00 on most mornings, followed by a sharing circle where the group talks through what came up the day before. The ceremonies themselves run in the late afternoon, usually from around 16:00, and each one opens with breathwork and meditation before the optional plant medicine. Dinner comes after the ceremony, once people have settled. On arrival day you check in at noon, have lunch, sit an orientation talk at 14:00 and go through one-on-one preparation talks before the first ceremony at 16:00.

The flexible structure is the thing that sets this apart from a fixed ayahuasca-only week. Over five days the menu rotates through the different medicines — Kambo is offered as an option on day two, Bufo on day three, a psilocybin ceremony the same evening, and San Pedro on day four morning. You're not locked into all of them; two ceremonies are included and the rest are add-ons you choose or skip. Day four also brings an art or somatic workshop in the afternoon, a change of pace before the week winds down.

The final day is a closing circle and check-out by noon. There's no big ceremony on day five — it's about landing, saying goodbye to the group, and heading off with a plan for the follow-up.

The setting is rural Algarve, a countryside house rather than a resort, which suits the quiet the work needs. Accommodation is part of the booking: a single ensuite, a shared double room, or a glamping tent or caravan on the property, with all meals provided throughout. The small group size, the two included ceremonies, and the aftercare — community support plus the two-month follow-up call — are what the retreat leader leans on as the reasons to come here rather than somewhere larger.
