Home › Retreats › Prenatal Yoga and Wellness Retreat in the Austrian Countryside
Austria · 4 days · From USD 1145
The retreat takes place at Der Baum, a lovingly restored farmhouse in Upper Austria's Kremstal Valley. The property includes a light-filled cathedral room with a sun dome where yoga and workshops happen, an enchanted garden, a natural pool, and a sauna available on request. Each room is unique, furnished with reclaimed materials, and overlooks greenery.
Daily life follows a gentle rhythm. Each morning, Déborah, a French-English prenatal yoga teacher, leads a pregnancy-specific yoga and meditation session. Her classes blend mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation, and she adapts everything to how you feel that day. Afternoons feature workshops led by Annalena, a full-spectrum doula and mother of two, covering topics like birth preparation, the postpartum period, and feminine embodiment. There are also women's circles, rituals, and creative activities.
This retreat is different because it's run by a yoga studio, be your muse, that specializes in women's health. Déborah and Annalena work with pregnant women every week in Vienna, so they know what they're doing. The retreat is small, which means you get personal attention, and the community often continues after the retreat through a group for participants.
Der Baum is surrounded by nature, with hiking and swimming nearby. It's also easy to get to by car or train, with the nearest station at Kirchdorf an der Krems, a short taxi ride away. You'll be encouraged to come with an open mind and trust the process—the organizers intentionally don't share a detailed schedule in advance.
