Puerto Rico Surf & Stay Fitness Escape at Rincón

The resort sits directly across from Sandy Beach, which puts you within easy reach of the best surf spots in the Caribbean. Rooms range from standard options up to newly upgraded Penthouses with ocean views, plus Superior Rooms and a separate vacation home with a private pool. There's a pool on site, a bar (Kahuna), and a communal setup where guests mix with surfers from other countries.

The surf school teaches everyone from first-timers to advanced surfers. Lessons come as private group lessons, solo private lessons, or guided adventures, and can be added to any resort package. The stated goal is to get you past just standing up on a board and into a real understanding of the sport — skills you keep after the trip.

Days here aren't strictly scheduled. You surf in the morning or whenever the swell and tide suit, then use the concierge to fill the rest. Rincón Vacations, the in-house concierge, sits at the resort and can arrange bioluminescent bay tours, sailing charters, parasailing, zip line adventures, jet ski rentals, horseback riding, island transport, and more.

Relaxation options exist too — yoga classes, massages, and spa experiences are available. Board rental is on site with short, long, and fun-shape boards for daily or long-term hire, so you don't have to fly with your own.

The location is rural and hilly, not walkable. Most guests rent a car in Aguadilla or San Juan. Aguadilla (BQN) is 20 minutes away and served daily by JetBlue, United, and Spirit; San Juan (SJU) is about a 2.5-hour drive. Airport shuttles and taxis can be arranged.

The resort is owned and managed by Casa Verde Hospitality and Retail, LLC, a family-owned action sports and adventure travel company headquartered in Puerto Rico. The Rincón Surf School and SASS Global Travel manage the resort operations.
