Puppy Yoga Wellness Escape in Cyprus: Yoga, Rescue Dogs & Mediterranean Views

This retreat is the world's first puppy yoga retreat, set in a peaceful villa in the hills of Peyia, western Cyprus. The idea is simple: pair a gentle yoga practice with the uncomplicated joy that comes from spending time with young, affectionate dogs. Ines, the host, is a qualified yoga teacher with over 1,300 hours of training, and she fosters puppies from a local rescue organisation at the villa. The puppies live at the property during their foster period, so they're a constant presence throughout your stay.

The yoga program is designed to be accessible and pressure-free. Mornings begin with a vinyasa flow class, held either in the dedicated yoga room or on the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. Evenings feature a slower yin yoga or meditation class, which the puppies are free to join. There's no expectation to perform — the emphasis is on moving with kindness and listening to your body. The retreat is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.

The villa is a short distance from the beach and the Akamas National Forest Park, making it a good base for hiking or a day at the coast. Free excursions to local sites are included. Ines also offers a guided hike to Avakas Gorge as a free gift for guests who book directly. The overall atmosphere is small and personal, with a maximum group size of around 3 to 10 people, so you're likely to leave knowing your fellow guests well.

A portion of the retreat fee directly supports the daily care of the puppies during their foster time, covering food, veterinary care, and other needs. This means your stay contributes to giving these dogs a better start in life, alongside the relaxation and yoga.
